It was voted Hot Hatch of the Year 2019

Thanks to its all-round performance and enjoyable driving experience, BBC Top Gear Magazine named the Ford Focus ST as its favourite hot hatch in last year’s awards. The industry-leading publication even went as far as describing the car as “faultless” - a term you don’t hear thrown around and a true testament to the Ford Focus ST’s impressive build.

Stability without sacrifice

The new Ford Focus ST is the first front wheel drive Ford vehicle to come with an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD). This new addition improves stability on corners, offering superior performance and a smoother ride than ever before. By analysing data from a number of sensors, the all-new Focus ST can adjust the torque split between the wheels in a fraction of a second. The result is greater traction, cornering and stability.

An exhilarating and carefree driving experience

That’s not to say that it takes any of the fun out of driving the Focus ST, though.  Far from it, the new Ford Focus ST is more responsive than its predecessors, offering the exhilarating driving experience that you would expect from this sporty car. Whether you opt for the 6-speed manual transmission or the new 7-speed automatic transmission, you can enjoy a more dynamic driving experience without increasing the number of trips you need to make to the petrol station.
