New Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta has long been one of the country’s favourite cars, but it was about time the iconic supermini received a mid-life facelift. Aiming to keep its place on top of the sales chart, the 2022 Fiesta has a sleek new design and is loaded with forward-thinking technologies. It’s not hard to see why the Fiesta remains a firm favourite among drivers who want a comfortable and efficient drive without compromising on style, and the new Ford Fiesta certainly won’t disappoint.

New Head-Turning Design

The 2022 Ford Fiesta has received a stylish facelift to bring it up to date with the brand’s other new models. The bonnet has a sleek new shape, the bumper has been enlarged, and the nose raised for a sleeker front end design. The blue Ford badge has also moved from the bonnet to the middle of the enlarged grille. LED headlights with adaptive matrix lights add to the car’s more aggressive new look.

A Range of Unique Series Offerings

With the new 2022 updates, Ford has separated the characters of the Fiesta models further than ever before. The line-up includes Trend, Titanium, ST-Line, Active, and the ST-3 hot hatch. The sportier ST-line has received a more aggressive front bumper and a deep-set grille with a black honeycomb design. It also features an exclusive sports-tuned suspension. The Fiesta Active compact crossover has a raised ride height, vertical grille bars, and silver trim accents.

With the new Ford Fiesta, the luxury Vignale model is no more. Vignale now refers to an optional pack available with Titanium, ST-Line and Active models. The add-on includes exclusive alloy wheel designs, premium Partial Sensico seats, contrast interior stitching, and keyless entry and start.

More Fuel Efficient and Responsive Drive

The new Fiesta has an updated powertrain line-up that includes a choice of advanced EcoBoost Hybrid options. The mild hybrids provide small amounts of electrical assistance to increase fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions. These updates make the new Fiesta a more wallet-friendly and eco-friendly choice. Entry-level hybrids start with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder motor that can deliver either 123bhp or 153bhp.

The Fiesta EcoBoost Hybrid engines also come with an optional seven-speed Powershift automatic transmission. The greater number of gear ratios and dual-clutch operation help deliver smoother gear changes for a more efficient and responsive drive - perfect for stop-start city traffic.

Forward-Thinking Technologies

An all-new 12.3-inch interactive digital instrument cluster puts a wealth of driver information, including navigation alerts, right in front of your eyes. It uses intuitive and easy to read icons that correspond to the car's drive mode. The panel can even be configured to remember each driver’s preferred settings on the advanced Fiesta models.

Advanced Safety Features

The new Ford Fiesta carries over all the safety features from the previous models, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist. There are also several new driver assistance and safety system additions. 'Wrong Way Alert' uses a windscreen camera and the car’s navigation system to sound an alarm if you start driving the wrong way down a road. ‘Rear Occupant Alert’ reminds you to check the back seats for children or pets at the end of a journey.
