The new Ford Ranger Raptor comes with a range of advanced technologies designed to deliver a better driving experience on any terrain. This includes its powerful Terrain Management System. Activated quickly and easily by the press of a button, the Ford Ranger Raptor’s Terrain Management System comes with six different modes. Each mode has been designed to maximise the vehicle’s performance on a different type of terrain, meaning it’s ready to handle snow, mud, sand, grass, gravel or whatever ground you want to cover.
Sit inside the Ford Ranger Raptor and you won’t be able to miss the well-thought out interior. From the bespoke seating to the technology, the Raptor is packed with features to make sure you stay comfortable and connected wherever you end up. The built-in FordPass Connect modem system acts as a WiFi hotspot for up to 10 devices when you’re on the go, and lets you locate, lock and unlock the vehicle from afar. It also allows you to monitor fuel levels, mileage and tyre pressure so you’ll always be prepared.
The Raptor’s advanced technologies include sophisticated safety systems to keep everybody on board safe in all environments. They include Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, which scans the road ahead using radar and camera and warns you when a pedestrian or cyclist has been detected. If you don’t respond, the Raptor will automatically apply full braking force to reduce impact.
An Advanced Traction Control System helps maintain maximum grip by monitoring the power delivered and reducing excessive wheelspin, while the Electronic Stability Control feature means you never need to worry about losing grip altogether. The system detects when the Raptor is losing grip and automatically applies a braking pulse to stabilise the vehicle.
The all new Ford Ranger Raptor comes with powerful Xenon headlights to give you maximum visibility at any time of day. The headlights can detect changes in light conditions and turn themselves on automatically, so it’s one less thing for you to worry about while driving. When driving down darker roads, the Raptor’s auto high beam technology can detect when another vehicle is approaching and temporarily dip your headlights to prevent dazzling them. Once the other driver has passed, the lights will automatically revert back to high beam so you can continue driving with maximum visibility.
The new Ford Ranger Raptor has been designed to give you maximum flexibility in driving while ensuring you always stay in control. Hills are no struggle for the Raptor thanks to its Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control technologies. Together, they will prevent you rolling backwards when making a hill start and regulate your downhill speed in off-road conditions.
